Top 5 from ABC Kids Expo: #4 Squatchi Kids Shoe Sizer

24 Oct

Last week our Chief Buyer, Vanessa, attended the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas to scope out new products and meet with Buyerly customers. She even had time for lunch with a buyer of an important naturals retailer who, by the way, is also a Buyerly buyer!

Each day, we will release one of Vanessa’s Top 5 products and brands from ABC Kids Expo.

Squatchi is a children’s shoe sizer and keepsake growth chart to measure and track feet growth at home. It frees moms from having to drag the kids to the shoe store and all other stops during that shopping trip. She can now head out to stores with confidence knowing she can buy the kids’ shoes without them there and get the rest of her shopping list checked off in quick order. On top of that, order shoes online without having to guess what size shoe your growing kid wears now!

Are you feeling skeptical about whether this product really solves an existing frustration? I understand. I wasn’t sure this was a widely experienced problem either. But the sales don’t lie. Last year’s unit shipments and sell-through is impressive. And retailers are knocking on their doors to get their orders in.  And not just because it meets a need; it’s a great product design too. Even high-end retailers are using Squatchi in kids’ shoes departments for an improved shopping experience. Still don’t believe in the hype? Read the online reviews and you’ll understand why consumers love this product.  I’m sold.
